Terms of service

Cosy Bakes specialises in made-to-order cakes and bakes, designed with care and attention to detail. The following terms ensure a smooth process for both parties

1. Orders

  • All orders must be placed in advance via the contact form on our website.

    This allows us to discuss your requirements, availability, and provide an accurate quote.

  • This does not apply to the product section on the website.

  • Orders are not confirmed until a deposit/payment has been received.

  • We require a minimum notice period for all orders. This will vary depending on the size and complexity of your cake or order and will be confirmed during the enquiry process.

2. Allergens

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary needs when placing an order.

  • Allergen information is available upon request.

  • Please note: all products are made in a home kitchen that handles common allergens, including but not limited to dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, and nuts. We cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.

  • We do not accept liability for any allergic reactions, as all items are prepared in a shared kitchen environment.

3. Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

    The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of enquiry.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to collection or delivery.

    Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your order.

4. Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for weekly bakes and 7 days in advance for seasonal or Occasion bakes.

  • Cancellations made after this period may not be eligible for a refund.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns.

  • Refunds will only be considered if a clear photo of the issue is provided within 24 hours of receiving the order.

6. Collection & Delivery

  • Collection or delivery details will be agreed in advance.

  • Once your order has been collected or delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer. We are not liable for any damage occurring after this point.

7. Design & Finish

  • All cakes and bakes are handmade, and slight variations may occur.

    We aim to match designs as closely as possible, but exact replication is not guaranteed.
